Are you shiny?
Can the Spirit shine through you so others see Jesus?
Think of a window. Think of a clean window. Then think of it having a couple of smudgy fingerprints on it. What do you see when you look at that mostly clean window?
The fingerprints.
What about us? Do people see the smudges we added because we had to get our fingers on it or do what is shining out of us?
Oswald Chambers had good things to say today. He writes, "When the Spirit fills us, we are transformed, and by beholding God we become mirrors. . . Beware of anythin that would spot or tarnish that mirror in you. It is almost something good that will stain it -- something good but not what is best . . . The most important rule for us is to concentrate on keeping our lives open to God."
"And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14
Does Jesus' glory shine out of us unmarred?
